Games Industry Southern Sweden 2013
Last October Game City published a report on the state of the games industry in Southern Sweden. The report was to a large extent based on KPIs from fiscal year 2012.
Game City is now releasing an annex to this report with KPIs from fiscal year 2013, the latest available public data from thirty companies in the region.

Here are the highlights:

In 2013 the companies had a combined turnover of SEK 335.9 million compared to SEK 291.7 million the previous year, a growth of 15.1%.

The majority of the companies are profitable and report a combined profit of SEK 26.2 million compared to SEK 11.1 million the previous year, an increase of 136%.

The companies employed 413 people in 2013 compared to 378 employees the previous year, an increase of 9.26%.
