The Game Habitat team continues to grow, today we’re happy to welcome Jesper Krogh Kristiansen as our new Business Development Manager – welcome onboard Jesper!
In his own words, this is Jesper’s new role and the short story of what he’s been up to before joining Game Habitat:
”My job here will be to help the companies in the community become as successful as possible business wise, and I look forward to meeting you all and talk to you about what you need, and how we at Game Habitat can help you build and grow your company as a business.
My role here at Game Habitat will be to create business specific initiatives – events, workshops, programs etc. – that specifically aims to improve the business side of the game companies here in south Sweden.
I come from a somewhat similar position in the former Interactive Denmark organization, but look forward to getting to know the Swedish games industry. In my eyes a “level up”, given the size and visibility of the Swedish games industry internationally. Before that, I have worked at Microsoft in a non-games role, as well as having my own games company, and working as a freelancer doing audio design for several indie titles.
In addition to this, I have also authored two books about the Danish Games Industry, and have been on the editorial board for the Danish game funding support scheme for a number of years.
As you probably guessed from the above, I hail from Denmark, where I live with my family on the island of Amager. So I will be commuting across Öresund to Game Habitat, while I work on my Swedish.
Looking forward to working with you all.”
